Terms of Service

By downloading or using the SmartCV app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

  1. Service Usage: SmartCV provides AI-powered resume building and job application tracking. The service is provided "as is" and we are not responsible for any inaccuracies generated by the AI models.
  2. Data Responsibility: Since all data is stored locally on your device, we cannot recover your resumes if you delete the app or clear your device data without a backup. You are responsible for maintaining copies of your exported PDFs.
  3. AI Content: Content generated by the AI (summaries, cover letters) should be reviewed by the user for accuracy. SmartCV does not guarantee job placement or interview success based on the use of the application.
  4. Premium Access & Ads: To access premium templates or export documents, you agree to view advertisements. Bypassing these ads via third-party tools is a violation of these terms.
  5. Prohibited Use: You may not use the application to create resumes containing fraudulent information, misleading credentials, or illegal content.

Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Your continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
